“Oxidize”

Acrylic on Canvas
16”x20”
Original, one of a kind, Artwork
Like metal exposed to the elements, Oxidize captures the slow transformation that occurs when time, air, and energy begin to reshape something once solid. Deep metallic blues and stormy grays swirl across the canvas, fractured by flashes of copper, ember, and pale silver. The colors collide and react like elements in a living chemical process, forming currents that feel both violent and strangely beautiful.
Hints of corrosion and fire glow from within the darker depths, suggesting a surface that has endured weather, heat, and change. What once may have been uniform becomes layered with complexity — textures forming like oxidation spreading across steel.
Oxidize is a reminder that transformation often begins with breakdown, and that even decay can produce unexpected beauty.
