“Sleepy Holloween”
by
David A. Summerhays
Acrylic on Canvas
10”x8”
Original, one of a kind, Artwork
What began as a Halloween-inspired composition slowly darkened into something more ancient. As the paint settled, the form of a barren tree emerged — twisted, reaching, and alone against a shadowed backdrop.
It wasn’t planned. It revealed itself.
Echoing the quiet unease of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, this piece carries the stillness of autumn nights and the feeling that something unseen lingers just beyond the edge of sight.
